If you love history and admire the interesting architecture, I advise you to visit the Czech Republic and visit Prague. Here in every house and street in the central part of the city one can feel the breath of centuries, the very calm atmosphere and unhurried pace of the indigenous people emphasize the respectable age of these places rich in memories and history. Beer restaurants or, as they are called in the Czech Republic, gentlemen located in the center of the capital are real objects of historical heritage, but in addition, there you can have a delicious lunch and drink wonderful fresh beer, which is absolutely deservedly considered one of the best in the world. For beer, I recommend ordering a verandah knee or, in our opinion, a pork knuckle baked in the oven. I assure you that you will not try this anywhere else. The dish is devilishly tasty, albeit fatty, but for the sake of it it is worth forgetting for a day about the principles of healthy eating, it is definitely worth it.

Ingredients for cooking pork knuckle in the oven
For our dish, we buy a front pork calf (there is little meat in the back) and two liters of dark beer (since I haven’t found a real Czech, I bought draft from a private brewery store).
We will also need:
- allspice - 10 peas,
- a piece of fresh ginger root (about 2 cm),
- 0.5 tsp marjoram
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 5 bay leaves,
- 0.5 tsp cumin seeds,
- 2 tbsp. salt - from this we will prepare spicy mixture No. 1 for boiling the knuckle;
- 2 tbsp. oils (olive, but can be corn or sunflower),
- 3 garlic cloves,
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 0.5 tsp black pepper - it will be a mixture of number 2 for roasting.

At home, the calf is well treated: wash and scrape. Place the calf in a large saucepan, add mixture No. 1 ...
